Mission Statement of the American Dental Assistants Association: To advance the careers of dental assistants and to promote the dental assisting profession in matters of education, legislation, credentialing and professional activities which enhance the delivery of quality dental health.
The Louisiana Dental Assistants Association teamed up with the American Dental Assistants Association to accumulate items requested by dental assistants stationed in Iraq. The assistants set up the mobile dental clinics in the field before they can go to work. They are also called upon to help triage wounded soldiers. The following groups help us with the donations for this worthy cause: Ascension College of Gonzales, Castaway Red Hats Society of Gonzales; LSU Dental School Faculty and Students; Nina's Nails of Gonzales, and Classic Practice Resources of Baton Rouge. We would like to extend our thanks to these contributors for making this such a great effort.
